This story is about how Krishna saves a child from the ocean and reunites him with his father, who is also Krishna's teacher.
Krishna slays Kansa
This story is about what Krishna had to go through in order to finally slay Kansa.

Hi Sarah, thanks for getting your Portfolio set up! I went to make a link for the class list, but it is not working quite right because you have a typo here in the label. It needs to be "Portfolio" for the label here. If you can check on that when you get a chance that would be great - thanks!

ReplyDeleteSarah, I really like the idea behind your portfolio! Krishna seems to be a very interesting character within the realm of Indian Epics and he constantly appears in lots of the stories, so I think it is really great that you wanted to recreate stories for your portfolio involving him. Something that I have told other people who created portfolios is it is so important to include lots of pictures! Since you have a simple background, the pictures are the key to making your stories truly stand out! After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. Something else I might suggest is including more of an introduction to your portfolio. I got that your theme was about Krishna, but I wanted to understand more about why you chose Krishna as a topic and why he is so important in Indian Epics. A good way to start this is to explain it like you are trying to describe Krishna to a bunch of people who are not in the class. This will make sure that everything is clarified and it is simple to understand. Great job Sarah!
